cookie policy.

This document describes the cookies and similar technologies used on brightlayoutgroup.com. We use as few as possible.

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file saved on your device by a website you visit. Cookies are commonly used to make websites work properly (for example, to remember your preferences) or to collect aggregate usage statistics.

2. Cookies we use

Strictly necessary — a single language-preference cookie (blg-lang), lasting twelve months. It remembers your choice between EN and RO. No consent is required for this cookie because it is strictly necessary for the site to function in your chosen language.

Functional — your cookie consent preference is stored in localStorage (under the key blg-cookie-consent). This is technically not a cookie but it works similarly. The storage persists until you clear it from your browser.

Analytics (optional) — if you choose "Accept" on the cookie banner, we may set one or two aggregate analytics cookies (for example, Plausible Analytics, with no individual tracking). If you choose "Decline", no analytics cookie is set.

3. Cookies from processors

At checkout, payment is redirected to Stripe, which sets its own cookies for fraud prevention. These are necessary to process the payment and are governed by Stripe’s cookie policy.

4. How to manage cookies

You can manage cookies directly from your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). To reset analytics consent on this site, clear the blg-cookie-consent entry from localStorage and reload the page — the banner will reappear.

5. Changes

If we change the cookies we use, we will update this document and reset the consent banner.
